That's grim. If that's what you really feel about yourself, than it might be wise to ask for help from doctors, or at least share it directly with your close ones. But expressing it like this is good too, saying it sometimes helps enough. It's normal to feel bad and down.Times are real rough, but it's gonna be okay, and people will prevail. Take care, give yourself some rest if possible.

I have no friends IRL. My only social interaction is at work. And my mom is the only family I have. But I promise you I'm not going to die young. Only after 40 will I probably consider it. I still have a lot to do.
@DrunkGecko Just caught this, and I'm glad to read you'll be sticking around :).
I'll be approaching that 40 myself not too long from now; lost my mother a couple years ago (effectively, my only family); am recovering from injury (no work); and lost contact with most IRL friends awhile ago.
If you ever feel alone, know that you aren't. If your mother is good to you, return the favour by looking after yourself now. Health trends downward as we age, but if you're in a good strong position, you'll be able to help anyone who deserves it when they need it most - usually, later on :).
Go forward secure in the knowledge that time, by itself, heals most wounds. Looks like you've got support here, at least! Please be well in 2023.
