Haha, caught this, read the posts... Bottom line, avoid Music and General for 90's jokes - it's pure cancer over there due to automation + mods, and Fulp's clearly not at the helm. Other areas of the site seem fine, though!
I won't name the other mod who decided to resort to name calling & borderline harassment over a 500% bogus copyright mismatch I was pissed about... but rest assured, I was almost in your position, and merely saved myself with higher-quality writing + defensive measures + Canadian PC thinking =D. I've seen far worse here with no consequences. Lay low, let it pass for 1-2 weeks, be pleasant when there's a resolution -- and these volunteer mods will forget about you. 90% of the mods here are genuinely great, but the last 10% are ruinously bad. Typical volunteer mod syndrome.
Also: mods can forcibly message you, but you cannot block them. So, stop bugging them. Let the jerk win, do something else for a few days, and don't attract their attention for a week or two. They'll forget about you.

What's weird is that I remember Malachy as a cool guy. Mods tend to profile people intensively. Newgrounds isn't everything even if it's nice to find some other quirky people sometimes.
It's always been an arbitrary place leading to clashing heads. Just treat it as a strict place as that's what it honestly is just obfuscated around assumption based "rules."
