So...basically like my experience of playing Dark Souls after playing Bloodborne? FromSoft is one of those companies where seemingly every new game they put out makes the previous and older games seem like garbage in comparison, so at least my excuse was "well, Dark Souls doesn't quite have the polish and experience of Bloodborne, which doesn't have the polish of Dark Souls 3, which isn't as good as Sekiro, which isn't as good as their latest hard masterpiece, Elden Ring, so I blame the slightly-out-of-date game design for my failures in Dark Souls 1." Notice how I didn't mention Dark Souls 2, that's Bamco's fault, not FromSoft's.
Oh, and the fact I played the Switch version. Playing Dark Souls at ONLY 30 frames per second with overly-compressed sound effects totally threw off my game, I swear, it wasn't my fault!
