@DrunkGecko well, its also possible that they misdiagnosed you, if you feel like you show the symptoms then it could just be a misdiagnosis. worth to get a second opinion

I was going to ask how you're really sure that whoever diagnosed you was correct. But if you're going to apply for disability, maybe it's actually better if you don't question it.

You might want to get a second opinion on that.
If you haven't had auditory or visual hallucinations, I don't know that there's a lot of wiggle room for schizophrenia. You most likely have something else.
They're going to turn you down the first time you apply. They do that to nearly everyone.
You might want to look into hiring a disability lawyer. The whole process could take well over a year, even two.

I live with Psychotic depression, hell tried meds to help it... That was one of the worst mistakes I've done in my life as it made it worse... Gave me a permanent distrust of anything like that due to lack of insurance and not risking it again. I'm surprised you would have Schizophrenia. I sometimes surprised you would have it though.
